Brief Overview Of A Suspended Crane Beam

A runway beam is an essential component of an Suspended overhead crane (подвесная кран балка для продажи) and as such has to be manufactured with the greatest precisions and installed with the greatest care. They are constructed from solid or manufactured steel. A lifting beam suspended from a crane/hoist is designed to provide multiple lifting points, allowing a load to be attached at more than one point in order to secure and control the movement of the load. They are used to lift loads that are too flexible or weak to be lifted without some type of support. A simple lifting beam usually has a link or eye on the top that is designed to connect to a hook on the lifting machine with two or more lifting points underneath to connect to the load. They are often used in combination with lifting magnets or vacuum lifters to support the lifting of long thin plates or sheets of metal. They are ideal for use where the headroom is insufficient to accommodate slings and play a crucial role in the wellness of the object being lifted. Symmetric and asymmetric loads can be lifted.

Different types of Crane Runway Beams

The runway beam section of an overhead crane can consist of one of three sections:

– A rolled I-section with or excluding side reinforcement for the support of horizontal loads;
– A welded-together I-section;
– A Box girder

These sections can also be used on suspended overhead cranes (купить кран балка подвесная) but without a rail. Sections for gantry cranes can be manufactured according to the operating circumstances of a particular facility. Options include a rail welded onto an I-section; or an A-rail continuously or discontinuously clamped on top of the beam. The type of rail is selected according to the type of application.

Rail plates are welded onto the crane’s gantry section using a discontinuous weld method. A-rails are suitable for larger wheel loads and/or production overhead cranes that are used extensively, whether they are automated or not. A-rails can be used for rails on an overhead crane, namely the trolley, and for the crane runway beam.

The design of this type of rail allows the use of horizontally positioned guide wheels as opposed to wheels with flanges. The slightly rounded shape of the underside requires a suitably reinforced, elastic supporting mat on the runway section. They are usually clamped to the runway profile at regular intervals and when welded together provide a reliable and durable rail solution.

Suspension cranes (цена мостовых кранов) allow the entire workshop area to be used for production. They are simply attached to an existing roof structure and do not need columns to support the crane runway, saving time and costs. Benefits of a single girder overhead crane include:

– rigid I-beam girders for optimum distribution of loads up to 16 tons;
– specific sections of a workshop can be served;
– lateral overhangs can extend the cross-travel path of the load beyond the runway span;
– loads immediately adjacent to a building wall can be handled by means (средства) of girder ends tailored to specific application requirements;
– optional latching devices are available for the transfer of trolleys to a monorail track.
